Amber Massie- Blomfield Introduction to Memoir Writing Workshop
Amber Massie-Blomfield is a creative nonfiction writer. Her first book, Twenty Theatres to See Before You Die, was published by Penned in the Margins in May 2018, and received the Society of Authors’ Michael Meyer Award. She is a regular contributor and columnist for The Stage, and has written for titles including The Independent, The Guardian, The Pool, Brixton Review of Books, New Internationalist, The Journal of Wild Culture and many more. In 2019 she won Gladstone Library‘s political writer-in-residence prize 2019 and was shortlisted for the 2019 Theatre Book Prize.
Amber joined ArtHouse Jersey in January 2020 for a residency, where she researched visual artist Claude Cahun in preparation for her new book, Acts of Resistance. For ArtHouse Jersey Presents, Amber presents an interactive ‘Introduction to Memoir Writing’ workshop aimed at creatively capturing your own experience during the pandemic.
