Illustrating Your Own Masterpiece with Abi Overland - Online event

ArtHouse Jersey is pleased to announce the next in their series of live online art workshops for islanders to enjoy at home.The ‘​Illustrating Your Own Masterpiece with Abi Overland’ ​will take place on ​Friday 26th June 2020 at 7pm​ ​on the video communications platform ​Zoom​.The scene will be filled with elements of Abi's style of illustration, mixing figurative with still life, so there are plenty of elements you can choose to draw by themselves or create the whole scene.In advance of the session, Abi will send across a Spotify playlist for everyone to settle into the session. This will be an opportunity to get drawing and experiment in your own time without the pressure of a show and tell afterwards - however you are more than welcome to send along pictures after the session is they wish to.The session will consist of several very short rounds to loosen up your drawing skills, followed by several longer sittings to really get into it.Tickets are very limited and can be purchased via Eventbrite here.ArtHouse Jersey will email participants the link invite on the morning of Friday June 26 2020 and we ask that ticket holders be sure to login in plenty of time so the whole group can maximise this one-hour session.In the coming months, ArtHouse Jersey will continue to offer online classes with renowned and skilled artists that people can participate in from the comfort of their own living room, helping to keep the community creative as a whole, while removing some potential participatory barriers that might ordinarily exist within the physical set up.
