Jersey Design Awards 2024:Celebrating Excellence in Architecture and Placemaking

We are very pleased to be hosting the Jersey Architecture Commission Design Awards 2024 at ArtHouse Jersey at Capital House from 10 to 20 October, open 10:30am to 6pm (closed Mondays). This will be held in collaboration with the Association of Jersey Architects and will showcase all of the entries submitted to the awards. Come and discover a world of architectural innovation and creativity!

The Jersey Design Awards celebrate the people and projects transforming our built environment, fostering sustainable development, and creating a lasting legacy for generations to come. The exhibition will feature interactive experiences, hands-on activities and talks in the space and across St Helier provoking discussions on architecture and design. The events will cover a range of topics, including sustainable practices, women in construction, urban planning and the art of rescuing storm timber.

Children’s Workshop: Postcards from the future

Join us for a family workshop where we'll be creating postcards for the Postcards from the Future Exhibition as part of Jersey Architecture Week 2024. Each postcard tells a story through both image and text – a snapshot of a future Jersey, shaped by the imagination and ideas of its community and provide an engaging look at how the island might evolve.You’re invited to explore these visions, and add your own postcard to the exhibition, sharing your thoughts on Jersey’s future and what’s important to you:

Activities will include being creative with Lego, collage and origami. All ages welcome!
