The Story Beast – Guidelines and May You Live In Interesting Times

The Story Beast is the hairy, scary alter-ego of comedian, poet and Jerseyman John Henry Falle.

In this guise he has dragged his rattlebag of wyrd tales and songs to audiences around the country but his latest tour has mostly been confined to his living room with extra stop-offs in the kitchen with support from warm up act, his infant son. It is here he broadcasts Spooky Old Ghost Stories and poems for both kids and adults on Twitch and Facebook Live. Islanders may recognise him as a regular fixture at Jersey Library and Art House Jersey commissioned him to open their new headquarters at Greve de Lecq barracks in 2019 with the epic poem ‘The Entire History Of Jersey (In 10ish Minutes)’. His latest poem for the island is called ‘Guidelines’ and is a comic response to the many, many new bits of important information we’ve all had to digest recently.
