Natural Dyeing & Shibori: Discover the fascinating process of natural dyeing, using plant-based materials to create vibrant and unique colours on fabric. Learn the Japanese resist-dyeing technique of Shibori to create intricate patterns and explore the beauty of sustainable textile art.

Print, Stitch & Appliqué Inspired by Nature: Learn a range of textile techniques with mixed media and create beautiful designs inspired by the natural world. Experiment with layering, composition, the interplay of different materials, explore a variety of stitches and translate botanical elements, landscapes, and natural textures into your own unique artwork.

All art materials included. Each day is £90 to attend. Available dates are:

Sat 21 Jun, 10am to 5pm (Natural Dyeing & Shibori)
Sat 12 Jul, 10am to 5pm (Textile Print & Applique)

Margarida Lourenco is a textile designer and art tutor who creates textile sculptures to bring attention to contemporary issues such as sustainability, migration and over-consumption. Margarida has a passion for creativity and a belief in the power of art to connect and inspire.
