New installation 'Refugio' exploring confinement and freedom opens this Thursday
ArtHouse Jersey is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new exhibition this weekend, ‘Refugio’ by artist Oliver Le Gresley. The installation is a response to the way life changed for us all over the past year, and hopes to distil some of these changes, placed within the artificial context of the art gallery, to encourage the viewer to reflect upon the ideas of exterior and interior, public and private, confinement and freedom.
‘ArtHouse Jersey Pop Up’ with Bianca Padidar & Ariel Luke
With restrictions easing, ArtHouse Jersey is delighted to be able to welcome Islanders back to the ‘ArtHouse Jersey Pop Up’ series, a programme of weekend-long exhibitions featuring the work of local artists. There is also the opportunity to get a better insight into artists’ work and practices with Bianca Paddidar and Ariel Luke on hand to talk to visitors about the exhibition.
