ArtHouse Jersey Pop Up with La Folie Collective artists
This weekend sees the return of ArtHouse Jersey’s Pop Up exhibition series, with three artists Marc Medland, Sam Carney and Eliza Reine showcasing their work and welcoming guests to our HQ at Greve de Lecq Barracks. The three artists are all based at ArtHouse Jersey’s La Folie Studios, which are located behind the La Folie Inn, St Helier Harbour's old tavern.

‘The Things Forever Speaking’: An ArtHouse Jersey exhibition by artist Lulu MacDonald is free and takes place in the retail space on the corner of Pitt Street and Charing Cross. It opens to the public on Thursday 16 July and shows until Thursday 29 July 2021. It is open Monday-Saturday 11.00-18.00 and on Sundays 12.00-16.00.

A brand new exhibition ‘YourTopia’ is now open at ArtHouse Jersey’s Headquarters at Greve de Lecq Barracks. This is the inaugural exhibition by the artist collective the ‘Fernweh Vision’ and explores the future possibilities of two parallel environments, inspired by the ideas of utopia and dystopia. It offers visitors the opportunity to step into these worlds and immerse themselves in a variety of multi-dimensional works.
New installation 'Refugio' exploring confinement and freedom opens this Thursday
ArtHouse Jersey is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new exhibition this weekend, ‘Refugio’ by artist Oliver Le Gresley. The installation is a response to the way life changed for us all over the past year, and hopes to distil some of these changes, placed within the artificial context of the art gallery, to encourage the viewer to reflect upon the ideas of exterior and interior, public and private, confinement and freedom.

In 2020 ArtHouse Jersey is coordinating a large scale, interactive exhibition in Jersey’s St Helier Town Church. We aim to explore the themes of Accessibility, Repurposing and Sense of Place. The exhibition will engage the community in this accessible, central location, open to the public for three to four weeks.

Lulu MacDonald is a long-time friend of ArtHouse Jersey, and also one of our Seed Funding artists. Now living and working as an artist and sculptor in Hamburg, she returned to the Island this summer through our residency scheme to undertake research for a new body of work.
Paper Dialogues - The Legacy of Paper Cutting ignites in Jersey
In October 2016, Jersey became the next stop in a touring exhibition by Professor Xiaoguang Qiao and Karen Bit Vejle. The renowned artists were invited by ArtHouse Jersey to bring their internationally celebrated exhibition ‘Paper Dialogues – The Dragon and Our Stories’ over to Jersey for its British debut.
