ArtHouse Jersey awards grants to three artists
ArtHouse Jersey is delighted to announce its latest round of successful artists who applied to the quarterly funding initiative, which offers financial assistance to help support an artist’s development or to deliver a specific body of work. The funding committee awarded Joshua Shea for his short film ‘Before the Tide Comes In’, freelance photographer, filmmaker and graphic designer Lucy Le Lievre for her short documentary ‘The Old Buggers Club’ and Jersey born London based artist Alexander Mourant who is busy creating his latest solo exhibition ‘I Could Not Tell Glass from Air’ for a renowned London gallery.
Journey to the Heart of the Blues with Carrie Cooper
Freelance radio broadcaster, journalist and presenter Carrie Cooper travelled to the States as she set out to make 'Journey to the Heart of the Blues.' The documentary brings to life real stories of the blues as Carrie accompanies Jerseyman, musician Giles Robson to the American Blues Foundation where he was nominated for two Blues Foundation Awards.
9 Questions, with Lulu MacDonald
Lulu MacDonald is a long-time friend of ArtHouse Jersey, and also one of our Seed Funding artists. Now living and working as an artist and sculptor in Hamburg, she returned to the Island this summer through our residency scheme to undertake research for a new body of work.
Artist Opportunity in Rwanda

Hannah Patterson, a previously supported ArtHouse Jersey writer, is having a new play produced at Hampstead Theatre.‘Eden’ is written by Hannah and directed by Matthew Xiaon will be on between February and 16 March 2019.
Meet our new seed funding awardee - Vivian le Vavasseur
Edward Bailhache, performing and producing music under the pseudonym ‘Vivian Le Vavasseur’, is a musician from Jersey, currently living and working in Berlin. He is a recent awardee of seed funding from ArtHouse Jersey.
