TRUSTEE OPPORTUNITY

ArtHouse Jersey is looking to appoint new Board members, including an exceptional new Chair to lead our Board of Trustees, who will help guide the organisation through its next exciting stage of development.

We believe that the arts have the power to transform lives and we want to enable the creation of art that Jersey people want to see, hear and experience. As a Trustee of ArtHouse Jersey you will support our charity’s mission, enabling the creation and sharing of art and creativity that has a positive impact on our Island community. We are particularly looking for people with expertise in fundraising, organisational development and arts practitioners.

The new Chair will have a proven and impressive track record of strategic leadership, a passion for the arts and culture, be an astute business person, an effective communicator and have the capability to act as a leading advocate for the charity. The ability to mobilise a network of influencers at the highest levels and command respect amongst decision makers and stakeholders in the public and private sectors is highly desirable.

ArtHouse Jersey would particularly welcome people looking for their first Board /Trustee position and invite applicants that reflect the rich diversity of our population to apply for this exciting opportunity.

A drop-in day will be held 16.30-18.30 on Monday 7 November when anybody interested in becoming a trustee can visit us at our exhibition space in St Helier, Capital House, and speak to a member of the team.

HOW TO APPLY

Please submit your CV and a cover letter of no more than two pages of A4 outlining your experience and why you wish to become Chair or a Trustee of ArtHouse Jersey to our Executive Producer, Matt Fiott, matt@arts.je. The closing date for applications is 17.00 Friday 18 November. We aim to hold interviews on 12 December with a view to making appointments before the festive break.
