Would you like to be part of an artistic project summer and practice your FILM-MAKING skills?
William Bock, a multi-disciplinary artist is looking for two people with a migrant background to help with documenting The Green Rope project.
The Green Rope project uses the act of crafting a Sugán rope (an Irish straw rope) to bring people together. It is a social sculpture and a hands-on process that creates space for conversation across cultures and identities.
In addition to the learning experience, you will be paid £325.92 for your invaluable contribution.
This has been calculated at an hourly rate of £11.64

ROLE & KEY DATES:
A training workshop on 15 June (ALL DAY)
The workshop will include using phone cameras as an accessible and multi-perspective approach to experimental film making. You will explore film language, sound recording, and approaches to framing subject as well as practical experimentation.
5 sessions from 16-20 July (3 hours/day)
You will be required to undertake practical film-making while the rope is being weaved outdoors. There will also be potential to start editing the material. These sessions will be hands-on and we will be working outdoors irrespective of weather conditions.
