ArtHouse Jersey is excited to announce their brand new, limited season of live music and spoken word events, ‘LIVE AT THE BARRACKS’. Taking place at the art charity’s HQ at Greve de Lecq Barracks the events will span four genres of entertainment; poetry, music, drama and comedy, with each genre spread over two nights (Thursdays and Fridays) throughout the summer of 2021.

ArtHouse Jersey is delighted to announce the next in their series of Pop Up exhibitions at Greve de Lecq Barracks, this time with local photographer Will Lakeman.

A brand new exhibition ‘YourTopia’ is now open at ArtHouse Jersey’s Headquarters at Greve de Lecq Barracks. This is the inaugural exhibition by the artist collective the ‘Fernweh Vision’ and explores the future possibilities of two parallel environments, inspired by the ideas of utopia and dystopia. It offers visitors the opportunity to step into these worlds and immerse themselves in a variety of multi-dimensional works.

ArtHouse Jersey is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new exhibition this weekend, ‘Refugio’ by artist Oliver Le Gresley. The installation is a response to the way life changed for us all over the past year, and hopes to distil some of these changes, placed within the artificial context of the art gallery, to encourage the viewer to reflect upon the ideas of exterior and interior, public and private, confinement and freedom.

ArtHouse Jersey has launched a survey asking the local creativity community for their input into the types of events and opportunities they feel are currently missing in the Island. The organisation, which is looking to build on its programme of events and offerings at their premises at Greve de Lecq Barracks, is inviting artists of all kinds to fill in a short questionnaire. 

With restrictions easing, ​ArtHouse Jersey​ is delighted to be able to welcome Islanders back to the ‘​ArtHouse Jersey Pop Up​’ series, a programme of weekend-long exhibitions featuring the work of local artists. There is also the opportunity to get a better insight into artists’ work and practices with ​Bianca Paddidar ​and ​Ariel Luke​ on hand to talk to visitors about the exhibition.

ArtHouse Jersey is delighted to announce the upcoming, latest solo exhibition from local artist,  Lisa MacDonald. Entitled ‘Heart in a Jar’ the collection of works are a painted exploration of pain, survival and recovery.

It was built in the early 19th century to keep Napoleon’s forces out, but from the 23rd August the Greve de Lecq Barracks will be the base of a very different type of operation: making art!
